Belarus consists of an all GM team and ranked 17th. With each opponent at least 300 ELO points higher  the Malaysians fought but lost nevertheless.

Result: Belarus(3.5) - Malaysia(0.5)

The saving draw was by NM Fong Yit San on board 4.

    Zhuo Ren was better after his opponent sacrificed the exchange without sufficient compensation but spoiled it all in two moves to lose. Lik Zang doing ok but simply mis-calculated and went into a rook ending pawn down. Zaidan overlooked his bishop will be trapped on the king-side and never able to put up any resistance.

    Yit San played aggressively in the opening and eventually swapped down pieces to draw.
